Hi and thank you for your replay. Sadly this is not the case. Sometimes very rarely the board will come to the CPU getting warm and GPU too the keyboard starts to light up. However I cannot get to this point now. Just shuts down as soon as power button is pressed. CPU never gets warm now. I do find some capacitors around the CPU that have.012 ohms. And some VCORE reads .0012 as well However I have 19v, 3.3 1.8 and all other voltage too....

What was your original problem? I have FA507RE-A15.R73050T and power light flash when pressed power but nothing else. Battery v pulses with white led then quick orange back to White. I tried bios with external programmer did not help.

Well it's not the Bios. I reflashed it and verified the chip. Something else is wrong. Also the battery will not charge either. I have a floating 8.5vdc at the battery connector with the battery removed. With the battery connected, the charging indicator light stays white for 10 seconds then briefly flashes orange. At that time while the indicator is white, no voltage is at the battery terminal. When it turns orange there is a quick blip of voltage.Last edited by freakaftr8; 04-01-2024, 12:02 AM.

I'm starting to think it's bricked bios now. I pulled bios ic from board and I'm getting 1.8v briefly to vcc. Any ideas?

Asus a15 FA507RE-A15.R73050T failure
So this laptop seems to have some kind of failure. I bought it second hand and originally the previous owner said that they went to turn it on and it was presented with a quick flash of the power light the keyboard lit up and then the keyboard shut off and the power light went off as well but the battery indicator was white and after about 5 to 7 Seconds flashes orange really quick then shuts off and goes back to White. If the power button is pressed again the keyboard lights up really quick and then repeats. When I got it I could press the power button multiple times the keyboard light would...

Re: LG 55EC930V OLED - 3 Second Power No Display
Can you take a close up picture of the banding that you're talking about if it's vertical bars that are spread about 2" apart, some are lighter in some are darker this was something I was never able to completely cure as it is a common issue with OLED. The newer TV's have gotten better with this but the older TV's use drivers to drive not only the backlighting system because it's organic but the pixel data at the same time similar to a plasma. It may get better as time goes on and it may not.
Look at the Google...

Re: sharp lc-60le640u
Tcon is good. Panel is good. Sharp will fail if tcon cables are messed with while powered up. That's probably what happened. I suspect mainboard. Try heating up the mainboard with a hairdryer. probably bad bga under processor.

Re: Xbr55x930d. Has backlight and sound but no picture
This sounds all too familiar, if you have half the panel connected to the tcon you should see half a picture. If the panel is completely disconnected then no sub voltages will be present on tcon. I agree with Bud you probably have a shorted MLCC capacitor above one of the ribbons on the drive boards to the panel.
What I've gathered over my experience with LCD panel failure, Samsung panels like to short in which the screen will not display anything, LG panels like you short in which the screen will display half...Last edited by freakaftr8; 02-08-2019, 04:34 PM.

Re: LG 55EC930V OLED - 3 Second Power No Display
In my experience any of the 4 ribbons disconnected will cause this. They all have to be connected. The OLED does not work like a conventional LCD screen. Data transmits from the left cable and out from the right so it has to create a complete cycle.
How does it react when you leave all 4 ribbons disconnected attempt to power up using the power only feature?Last edited by freakaftr8; 02-08-2019, 02:07 AM.

Re: e701i-a3 no picture but backlights
OK that black line on the top lower quarter of the screen. It looks like it extends off darker on the right side. Even though the picture in the post 916 is upside down I would say there something wrong with the right 2nd or 3rd row side tab driver. The middle of the picture in the dark area is mura. This is a clear indication of the panel is not receiving or taking full voltage to the drivers as in they are shorted are loaded down. Should know that even in some repaired situations there's always a dark area in center of the screen. This is...

Re: LG 55EC930V OLED - 3 Second Power No Display
The reason you're getting a dim picture is because DRV_ON is enabled. However there is no data being fed to the panel. The fact that you don't have any white vertical lines Is a good sign because these OLED'S love to burn vertical tabs.
Those buttons that are on the main board do a reset of the tcon, And the other resets the TV as if you were to unplug it and plug it back in.
The system is very finnicky and super sensitive to any over voltage condition of the panel. If it recognizes a gate failure...Last edited by freakaftr8; 02-07-2019, 12:38 PM.

Re: e701i-a3 no picture but backlights
Like I always tell people when you power up the panel on new transistors keep your hand on the plug in briefly notice which side seems darker then immediately unplug it do not keep it running as it will burn the new transistors If you need a few times to do this you can plug it in powered up in immediately unplug it after you can see I say you have about a good 3 seconds...

Re: LG 55EC930V OLED - 3 Second Power No Display
So the LG logo is staying lit without any jumpers in place? It seems to respond by pressing volume up volume down and input buttons? I can see you are getting some kind of a picture can you put something into an H DMI port to produce sound or go to TV mode to produce static sound?
Also is the TV shutting down after a period of time going to the blink cycle?
This particular set up if not getting acknowledge that everything is systems go then after 3 consecutive power UPS it will go to the lockout

Re: SHARP LC-70LE857U 2 - 5 blinks
Strip the left side (dead no picture) side pulling the tabs from the panel with the driver boards still attached.

Re: Sharp Aquos TV LC-60LE644U
Sounds like mainboard failure. Ot locks up due to bad connections under the main processor or may be RAM related. Either way, replace the mainboard and you'll be back in business.
