so notebook is powering on and giving picture ?
however is better to get boardview and schematic to replace caps with right value.
Thank you to the guys at HEGE supporting Badcaps [ HEGE ] [ HEGE DEX Chart ]

are u using lab psu or usb-c psu ? do u have amperomether for usb-c ? just to know how many amp it's drawing.
voltage should be 3,3 for nbswon.
this is power sequenze for similar notebook.
without fan, pc should start at least for few seconds and cpu should get warm. then power off without heatsink.1 Photo

many laptop after removing power will cycle 2-3 times before giving picture. did u clean well the 2 corroded ic marked red in my picture ? good work till now.
6 omh on cpu are fine.

all the latest pictures are after board got cleaned ? clean with ipa and if necessary apply flux and hot air, but u should spot if some component is still ok or need to be removed/replaced by measuring if it's shorted or not.
green spot just clean and check if shorted, while red spot clean and maybe rremove component to see if it's corroded also under it. more important on ic the mosfet.
before all always check for shorted marked component before take any action. if a capacitor looks bad but no short u can leave it that way. if an ic is corroded, u should check datasheet and...1 Photo

i never buy mainboard only unless i have all other component to fully test the board. as suggested clean with ipa, and check if that cap is shorted. if so remove it and measure again.

on some a1502 fan spin after getting hot. usb light is better to check with pendrive (not mouse) if it blink. also check if cpu vcore is present. generally 2,8 volt on adapter sense is bad dcin board. if u can try another one. had one a1502 with no post and i fixed it by replacing dcin board.

Re: Problem video A1502
when video is off, if u press trackpad or similar u get video back ??
when u have no video, fan still spinning ?
could be lid sensor problem.

Re: macbook air 2020 A2179 boot loop cpu hot
update: problem fixed: i did some reactivate through dfu 3-4 times and didnt work. owner wanted to get data back but unfortunatelly it wont reactivate whatever i did.
after owner told me i can reset the mac, i did a restore through dfu and got error, then i did a reactivate and got error but after i restarted mac i got the folder question mark, so i reinstalled osx with command option r keys and mac went back to normal working.

Re: [help]a1466 820-00165 ultra slow!
u6101 and u1900 corrosion:
u1900 is clock signal generator, and if something is wrong board will not post, so board posting means it's ok.
u6101 is bios chip replated. if something goes wrong here, it can give slow boot and so on.
best thing to do is flash clean me bios with original serial put back in it.
after that see if it still has slow boot problem.
u6101 are close to end of laptop, not middle so hard to say that some sensor got problem with water spill.

Re: SR30W compatible replacement
SR30W is available for like 40 euros.
after pch replacement, u need to clean bios ME.
dunno any other chipset that is compatible, but generally each chipset need to be the exact same as the dead one.
for some gpu bga, u can swap them if pads are the same and gpu is same family, but for pch i think it's not possible.

Re: macbook air 2020 A2179 boot loop cpu hot
still didnt find a solution to this. i wont replace component just to see some improvement.
i noticed that without battery, once it start and u power it off it draw 0,03 0,04 ampere.
12,6 volt stable, 3,3 and 5 volt stable too.
when it boot loop, ppbus oscillate from 12,6 to 12,3 volt. also cpu get extremely hot, but a bad cpu will not make macbook stay on if i go into recovery mode and i dont put wifi password.

Re: Soldering flex cable - tips & tricks
never exceed melting solder temperature + 20° celsius . on my atten i use 360° otherwise cable will bend and broke apart.do some try on that spare cable first.
scrap them with a blade (i use blade only from glass cleaner scraping)
put cable in a perfect flat hard surface and scrap it opposute way from cutting blade to not cut the cable. u have to scrap not cut.
scrap untill the copper is shining. not shining means it has cover on it.
