    Win 10, Multi-Monitor Wallpaper Help

I've spend the past 15 minutes fiddling with wallpaper settings to no avail.

I have three monitors set up like so (see attachment). Monitor 1 is on top then 2 and 3 on the bottom. 1 is centered over 2 and 3.

I want the top one to have a solid black background (which I can do using a picture, that's fine, since Windows will only let you use solid color mode or picture mode not both) and I want one ultra-wide image spanned across the bottom two monitors. Unfortunately, span mode includes the top monitor.

I'd prefer to avoid third-party software, but I have a license for DisplayFusion somewhere if needbe. Just hoping I can do this with Win10's built-in stuff.

    Thanks!

Hmmm... well this may be more of a workaround... but how about split the ultra-wide image into two and set each half to its proper side?
I know - extra work when you want to change backgrounds... should work, though.

Absolutely brilliant solution. Can't believe I didn't think of this. THANK YOU

I had a similar issue at Church when I set them up with an Windows 10 Acer box for the AV system (1280x1024) where the 2nd screen (AV-system input) needed a black background, but the higher resolution front screen I wanted to have something other than black (like the two AV Macs were already set up, since OSX can do that natively). I ended up collage'ing the image I wanted (which was the exact same resolution as the main screen) with a black box 1280 pixels wide in GIMP, and used that for a background. Worked fine when spanned across both displays.

In your case you could probably do the same thing... just make sure everything's in the right spot (in the collage you're making) and shazam.

Vizio V555-G1 stuck on wallpaper; now stuck on V logo
          by x_orange90_x
I just got this tv today and it's getting stuck on the wallpaper. When I first power it on it goes to the V logo, then a black screen for about 15 seconds, then a Chromecast error for just a few seconds, and then finally to a wallpaper. It stays frozen on this wallpaper and does not respond to anything on the remote besides power on/off. Likewise the buttons on the tv do nothing either (besides power). I did the "reset" by holding the volume down and input buttons together for 10 seconds. It showed a message at the top of the screen saying it was Wiping Data and would restart soon. After...

Pioneer RM-07 Active monitors cutting out from time to time
          by BigOof
I have a pair of Pioneer RM-07 monitors that I bought a while ago. When I was testing them I noticed that one speaker would cut out and I thought it was just a bad cable connection. At the price they were being sold for I was willing to take a risk on them. However, 6 months later and the one monitor still has the same issue. Most of the time it works, but there are times that the power LED is on but I get absolutely no sound. I can hear the relay clicking on/off sometimes and then it will/won't work depending on what it feels like. I've tried XLR and RCA inputs with the same issue. There's no...

          Dell 2007FP monitors

I have a bunch of these monitors that all seem to have the same issue with bad inverter boards. Either the monitor will power on and not display a picture or it will display a picture for 2 seconds and then shut off. I know this because swapping the boards out with a working unit fixes the problem.

Apparently this is caused by the dell soundbars overloading the monitors power rails as they are of poor quality. I would like to fix the boards if possible but im not sure what to look for.

Giving away parts from otherwise cracked monitors/TVs: Does anyone know a group/forum
          by spartantravis
          Hi Guys
I was just taking apart an old Medion 24inch monitor that had a cracked screen. I needed the PMMA sheet inside but I am left with the working electronics, bezels and frame. It seems a waste to just throw it out considering the extortionate prices that some vendors charge for replacement parts.
At the same time, I dislike the commerical aspects of selling stuff.
Does anyone know of any group where people who repair monitors/TVs trade/donate parts to each other?
The monitor is an MD 20830 23.8inch. The owner left it face down while moving stuff and somehow cracked...
