    EVGA Z68 Motherboard Oddities

    1. I bought this cheap PCI-E SATA card and when I install it into any PCI-E slot neither the two onboard Ethernet ports work nor will a PCI-E NIC work: https://www.ebay.com/itm/254957725208

    2. I use this as a server. Every other motherboard I've ever owned, both OEM or name brand, has let me disable the whole "no keyboard detected, press F-something to continue" crap if it had it. While this one, no such luck. Basically any time my server needs to be rebooted I have to plug in a USB keyboard otherwise it never boots.

Plz help :'( I need the extra SATA port as a hot spare for my ZFS RAID-Z1 array. Gosh, 10 years ago this would be the rig of dreams. i5-2500K with 7 SSDs. Well 6 until I get that SATA card working. LOL.

While I don't like that solution, if we can't figure this out I'll find a random USB wireless keyboard receiver thingy that is sadly abandoned because the keyboard broke and just leave it in there. But I don't like that kind of stuff.
