How to connect 6 monitors to a PC?

    Hi,
I built an AMD PC and I have GTX 1070ti graphics card with only 4 outputs to 4 monitors, I want to connect 2-3 more monitors, what are the cheapest options do I have?
    Thanks in advance.

I forgot to mention that I need to see a different picture on all monitors.
Do you have a link with an example of the video amplifier?
I googled it and it seems that it's not what I am looking for.

If you want a different picture on each (all) the monitors, you will need a second video card. I see no other way of doing it.

does the 1070 really have 4 independant outputs?
i thought it only had 2 - not connectors but actual streams.

Isn't there another option except adding a second graphics card? Maybe some kind of HUB or a splitter?
Some one told me that I have to install same graphics card that I currently have. In addition, I need to upgrade the power supply, do I? I have 750W right now

I have 5 outputs but 4 are actual streaming. I think it depends on the version for each country.

If this is what you want to do, You can't take one output and SPLIT it and expect the video to be different on each monitor.

NO, unless you want to run the cards in SLI... which is pointless and hence pretty much dead these days.

Could you be more specific what you are trying to do when you use the 6 monitors? If it's not related to gaming or rendering in 3D on all 6 monitors at the same time, then you can use any plain low-end garbage PCI-E video card (or PCI if you don't have any more PCI-E slots??) The 2nd (cheap/low-end) card will just be used as a display device. So long as you don't require it to do crazy 3D rendering, you can get away with just that. Just pick a low-end card that has all the outputs you need. It doesn't have to be new... or an nVidia (though it might make sense both cards to be from the same company so you can configure them together with same control panel at once vs. having one for nVidia and one for ATI/AMD, which could be annoying for multi-monitor setup.) Moreover, going with something low-end (low power) and you won't have to worry about your power supply.

On that note, though, what kind of "750 Watt" power supply are you running - i.e. brand name and model? If it's a no-name, I'd be worried regardless. But if it's something like an EVGA, Corsair, Thermaltake, Antec, Seasonic, or other known-brand name, then it's more than enough for your current GTX1070 with lots of room to spare for another low-mid-range GPU from just about any era... so no need to upgrade it.

i bet the DVI and HDMI are in parallel.
they are afterall the same signals with a different connector.
HDMI just adds audio and encryption

Bought this one, hope it will be OK.
I want more monitors for stock trading.
My power supply is Corsair TX750M.

How is a USB hub going to get you 7 "separate and unique" video signals from the pc?
Maybe something similar to this https://www.matrox.com/en/video/prod...88-lp-pcie-x16

That could be true. They could be DP+ and just shunt the HDMI source there for passive connector compatibility

I thought he got USB's and display ports confused. Unless he's using separate USB graphics adapters (with what he's using for, which is stock trading, which I don't think takes up much graphics power). Still....that is a lot of bandwidth, even for USB 3.0, especially if they're 4k. I think there is a maximum for something like that

Yeah he'll still need USB to video adapters for each monitor. I was playing with a USB2 video adapter, these are miserable if you want to do graphics on it, but just to display a mostly static display it's just fine. Update rate is noticeably slower than a regular video card.

I've never/had tried USB3 video adapter. For the most part I think it's a last resort option...

USB video for 2.0 was ages ago, they're more powerful, but x3, Or get a USB PCI-E card so it's hot hubbed

Still, a cheap video card instead of 3x USB gpu's would be best option. I think the USB graphics adapters combined would be too slow, and to expensive

I picked this one up today.
Previous owner says no signs of life.
TV looks immaculate and its a 2022 model year so I thought maybe the one connect cable was damaged.
Got it home and put it on the Kill-A-Watt power meter and it was completely dead.

I immediately remembered EazyBone's Samsung The Frame TV no power....One Connect thread and am preparing myself to tear the One Connect open and hunt for dead parts.

                                          Hello!

I have a TV that I can't get any further with.
It is a Samsung UE 55HU8590 with one connect box.
When I turn on the TV without the one connect box, the animation on the TV tells me to connect the ocb.
As soon as I connect it, the TV restarts (panel goes dark) and the TV tries to start continuously (relay on the SMPS clicks about every 3 seconds).
Since the TV works without ocb, I assume that it can't be the PSU?!
I have measured all contacts of the one connect cable against GND on the ocb board and there is no short circuit anywhere.
                                          Is there...

Polk Audio RTi100 Plate Amplifier won't power on and intermittently honks and buzzes

My childhood best friend was killed about 9 years ago. His parents are finally letting go of his things, and they offered me his Polk RTi100 tower speakers. The Polk RTi100 towers are one of a handful of designs from the early 2000s that is a full range 3-way tower with a built-in self-powered subwoofer. This is accomplished with a plate amp integrated into the speaker input panel.

I think they used them for a while, but they've been sitting for at least a few years now. After about 40 hours of driving to their house and back (both they and I have moved in the last 9 years) I got...

How to test Subwoofer Amplifier with only a multimeter
                                          by jinu_j
                                          Hi Folks

Need some advice on how to test a subwoofer amplifier if i have access to only a multimeter.

                                          Problem
I have a Boston Acoustics active Subwoofer (soundware S). Its rated output is 200W. But the output i am getting is very low i can barely hear/feel it even if put the gain at max. I replaced all the capacitors in the Subwoofer amplifier but still no change.

Is there anyway to test this without getting an oscilloscope/Function generator to see if the fault is with amplifier, driver or the source??

                                          Any advice would be appreciated...

                                          Mackie CR4 amplifier no sound
                                          by UserXP
                                          Hi, people.

I've got an amplifier assembly from Mackie CR4 parts. It's just an amplifier, there was no speaker housing, so I used my set of CR4s to test it.

Anyway, upon connecting everything and hooking the "new" amplifier to an audio source, the sound played clearly and strongly for the first ten seconds. I was happy it was working. Then the sound started to fade out during the playback until it was no more. After it had "dropped to zero", there were two very short intervals of sound playing at the normal volume, as if the amplifier was trying to...
