    ga-6vtxd addanisatome

i have this nice free duallie complete with 2x 1.4 cpu's anda gig of ram.
i recapped it and the only box i wanted to upgrade with it needs 1 isa slot.
this board has a place for one but they couldnt be bothered to install it at the factory.i cleared the holes and installed one.
works fine.so i now may have the only 6vtxd with an isa slot for whatever thats worth.

surprised it worked... and wasn't missing bypass caps, bridge parts, or something else useful.

      Re: ga-6vtxd addanisatome

i looked for that too.guess even though they didnt install the slot it was too much work to delete the other parts.this would require reprogramming of the pick and place machine.
all the caps ect were there.i could add the uprated sound stuff too by adding a few chips.

i have done 3 of these now and 1 didnt work.turns out the crap psu(powmax) did not have -5.
btw these boards have to be recapped and adding the isa slot takes an extra 10 minutes tops.

DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG error re. old drivers in Windows 11 install image
            by japlytic
In a Beelink GTR mini PC, mine has an Intel AX200NGW WLAN module.

            Tried (only with keyboard/mouse connected):
            • BIOS + database update
            • Using latest Windows 11 image built with official image creation tool
            • Previous setup version for Windows 11 installer
            • Replacing SSD without a slow block (the previous SSD had a slow block with access time > 500 mS)
            • TPM reset (worked to the point where DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG error message is displayed briefly after the point of stalling)
            • Disabling power to WLAN and LAN modules in BIOS (Advanced > AMD PBS > PCI Express Configuration)

A2141 (2019 16" MB Pro) Strange macOS install issues. NAND? WIFI? FIRMWARE?
            by duwane
            Hi All.

Sorry ahead of time for the text wall. This is a strange problem and I have tried to explain it as best I can. I realise this is a hardware forum (mostly), but I am still not sure if this is even a hardware fault! I am hoping that someone more knowledgeable than me in the area of understanding installation logs, or someone that has had a similar issue in the past may have some ideas of what might be causing this.

            The issue:
Unable to do a clean install of any macOS versions supported for this model, even after fully erasing and formatting the internal SSD,...

ASUS FA507R - BLOD, cannot install windows
            by tommy97
I have an ASUS FA507R in for repair where I’m unable to install any operating system. The laptop works fine when booted from an external Windows or Linux drive, but any attempt to install on an NVMe SSD fails.

I’ve already tested with three different SSDs (Gen 3 and older), and the issue persists. The laptop originally came in with a faulty SSD showing 0% health....

MacOS: R|W Programmers like CH341x BINs..?
            by TrumanHW
For years I tried figuring out how to R|W BINs from my CH341x programmer.
From FTDI's pkg, Apps specifically claiming they work, I failed for ~8 years.

I'd expect many here figured it out (easily), but in case not ...
It's one of the few forms of "how-to" remuneration I can GIVE BACK.

This group is both GENEROUS & literally BRILLIANT / GENIUS!!!

This may be the easiest means to copy-paste:

            Code:
SERIAL -to- USB - CH341 ROM (MacOS):

            Install xcode: xcode-select --install
            Relocate
            ...
