Takeoff is usually the easiest part. Full throttle (F4) and Down arrow to point nose up.I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

I love the graphics in the Myst type games, but am too stupid to do them without a walkthrough. What I keep going back to is Railroad Tycoon Platinum. I like laying track and stealing my competitors business. They don't call it Tycoon for nothing. You can borrow from the bank, bankrupt your competitors, and them buy them out. With all the variables for the fifty or more scenarios, you don't have to ever play the same game over unless you want to.Comment

I have installed, the UT series, C&C Generals/Zero Hour, CNC3 + Kanes Wrath, BF2, BF2142....but at the moment my favourites to play (not online) are three mods for BF2....i.e. Desert Combat, Mercs 10 and AIX2......I prefer AIX2 and can be pretty hard on 'expert' ( for me being a doddery 63 year old) even against the computer
but great fun.
I used to play BF2142 online, but my mouse hand is not as quick as it used to be, so I get shot.......a lot

currently playing: Company of Heroes series.
Boy, what a very polished RTS, same vein as the Dawn of War series by THQ. Don't like the micromanagement skills required for the Brits or Panzer Elite, but still one of the best games out there.
occasional play: UT 2004 (skipped UT3, hehe), Guild Wars, HL2 or CS source
wanted to play: L4D, COD4 and its upcoming sequel, SC2
classics that I really like to play again: XCOM 1 & 2 (this time, no hex edit)

I like the old D&D games...Pool of Radience, Curse of the Azure Bonds, etc. Haven't played them in a while. started on the C64 and then moved to PC. Hmmmm....I have a couple schools coming up......maybe I'll take them with me. They take bloody forever!

Hey all! I've got a XBOX Series X which came in with the complaint of games crashing to the dashboard after launch. I've tested a few games so far. Red Dead Redemption I observed will load up fine and sit on the menu no problem, but once I actually load into the world, it will not complete the load-in, and crash, stating something about an error must be sent to Rockstar, etc.. Truck simulator seemed to work fine. Minecraft loaded up and zoned into a world, but within a few seconds, it too, crashed to the dashboard. Where are the logs stored? I'm rather new to repairing electronics, i do know the basics of most components but never actually repaired a PCB, but i want to change that.
So, i bought a faulty Sonos Play 1 speaker with the intention of finding the fault, and replace the damaged part.
Well, i did find the fault, i replaced parts that i thought caused the problem, but no-go.
The problem is a pulsing power supply, when i connect the mains to the board and hook up my thermal cam i see R306,307 and 308 getting warm, but i assume that's normal.
But, whats is not normal is the pulsing of resistor... -

ps5 cfi-1016a disk console
Problem: ps5 shuts down when playing ps4 games after cold boot with error code ce-108262-9.
After the shut down the console boots up normal and then the ps4 game functions without a problem.
ps5 games run allways without any problems after cold boot.
Thats absolutely curious....
I have already rebuild database, clean cache and reinstall latest firmware with usb stick in safe mode.
That doesen´t help
Furthermore i have opened console and renew liquid metal on gpu.
This all doesn´t... -
