Logitech Media Keyboard / Microsoft Explorer 4.0 Mini Review

Got a new keyboard and mouse for the office. My microsoft multimedia keyboard was developing a bad action. Well might as well get a new mouse also.

overview of the setup. i am still happy with the samsung 710v, cheap and great for office work although it doesnt have the speed for home use. excellent representation of the colours of photographs.

the logitech media keyboard has a nice action. it is not hard but not very soft either, just perfect. the f-lock is enabled by default when you start the computer so you have immediate access to the F keys when you need them. since i used microsoft keyboards for so long it will take some time to get used to this one.

Microsoft Explorer 4.0. They have finally got it right. It is a very comfortable mouse, the ergonomics are great now. the two buttons on the side are finally out of the way so you dont end up clicking them accidentally. the horizontal scroll is great for excel. the vertical scroll wheel now has a different action. it is smooth and you cant spin the wheel freely like before. but the software determines whether you are trying to access the far end of a document and speeds up. it works well. i setup the two buttons for cut and paste which is much better than ctrl+c, ctrl+v.
