Gigabyte EP43-DS3 starting up after hibernation

My daughter's computer, with a Gigabyte EP43-DS3 (F9 BIOS - the latest available) mainboard and a Thermaltake Toughpower 600W (W0103) power supply, starts up again soon after hibernation finishes (it resumes from hibernation correctly after BIOS messages).

Can anyone shine some light on this problem?

My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.

Sounds like S3 power mode is disabled in the BIOS maybe? Only guessing here.

Gigabyte usually has the wake on lan enabled by default, check that.

Tried S1/S3 power mode, PME Event Wakeup, and Power On by Ring - no luck.

GIGABYTE GA-H110M-S2 - Stuck at Debug Code C2 - don't like Patriot Viper Steel RAM but works with G.SKILL
          by DynaxSC
          Hi,

I discovered a strange behaviour of GIGABYTE GA-H110M-S2 board.

          General test conditions:
          - Tested with Core i5 6500 and Core I7 6700K - no difference
          - Default BIOS settings, but tried also altering several memory setting - does not change anything

          What is wrong:

With BIOS F1 and F2 the board normally POST's and boots to Windows 11 with 2 x Patriot Viper Steel PVS416G440C9K RAM (4400MHZ, Samsung B-Die chips)

When BIOS upgraded to anything above F2 (ie. F20-F27b) the board POST stucks after 3 Debug Codes on Code C2

Gigabyte Aorus X470 not starting randomly..
          by stormanimal83

still trying to fix my aorus from ebay. had a question about bios functions some time ago. but bios is not the solution in my case as i mentioned first...

The board is randomly not turning on especially when is was without power for longer periode of time... it can last at least one hour to get it running.

i dont know how to fix that. its like a dead capacitor issue because if i´m patient enough i get it always up and running. i managed ti install new windows 11 to ssd few minutes ago.

          few pictures..
