I've read here before that the DG33SXG2 mobo in this computer often goes bad.

Its an intel mobo so I'm wondering why. Is it a cheap mobo or is there another reason for the problems with it?

It has a delta psu. Is that any good, or could that be the cause of some of the problems?

I recently had a problem getting it to start again after I had to pull the plug on it because it froze up. It doesn't have any restart button. I removed the battery, then it was ok after waiting a while.
Do you know if it has a jumper to clear the cmos?

Another question:

This computer sometims loses its network connection.

I tried reinstalling the driver.

Gateway says to reinstall Vista. I don't thilnk that makes any sense.


I have to run network diagnostics then repair the network adapter.

Do you think this is a software or hardware problem?
