    Gpib ieee488?

Apparently GPIB is still not quite dead.

Anyone built some GPIB interface to modern machines lately?

There are a couple of RS232 to GPIB adapters out on the net, been thinking about trying to build my own so I can download waveforms from a Tektronix 2440 scope. However a main constraint is that I need Linux support...

Nobody actually tried building one or use it?

Hmm... I also need to buy a connector. I suppose I should get one along with the X2 caps...
