I really like these tech sites, even tho I can't quite understand it all. I've re-capped a few tube amps etc, but finding the problem is always the biggest hurdle and with motherboards (actually I mean ICs) I can't quite see what is going on. Only 2 question for starters. (1) Will a bare naked board post? I've run this thing on the bench stripped --no video. On the A7V site (also very good) they explain how to reflash bios using floppies, but I get the impression they can see what their doing. (2) If I can figure out how to download a bios update, burn it on to a couple floppies can I reflash this bios without any video?
Perhaps (as others have suggested) I really don't know what questions to ask. Anyway, any help or kicks in butt will be appreciated. Bill
