Re: swaped hhd with win7
There's a way to get rid of that but it can't be discussed here, but I've used "non genuine" Windows like that in a test computer for a while and it hasn't stopped working. It just displays annoying messages and won't upgrade obviously, and it seems slower but it might be an illusion. In my case I don't care as I just use this computer for benchmarks and it's not connected to the internet.Comment

Re: swaped hhd with win7
If you are not using the previous computer you took the HDD from just enter the key on the COA sticker. If it tells you it cannot be activated use the automated phone system(pretty easy).
In most cases the key on the COA has never been used. Manufacturers use their own key when they load the HDD. Try running Belarc Advisor on an OEM system and compare the key listed to the one on the COA.Comment

by eccerr0rWell I think that I have a GTX660Ti that's dead but I think I should give it one last try with its original OS and drivers: win7 home premium. While I can't stomach using win* of any type (I'm 100% Linux these days) I think I have to give benefit of the doubt to drivers, etc.
So... I have the original CoA for Win7 home premium and it's an OEM license. And I have the whole computer that the GTX660Ti came in (it was reportedly working too), minus the original hard drive, what could I download and run the machine temporarily to verify the GTX660Ti works with Windows or not?

-battery led flashing white and amber which indicated non genuine AC adapter. tried multiple bios.
-ive tried multiple genuine chargers
-the circuitry seems to be working fine and battery and charging seems to be controlled by EU2 which is ECE5048-LZY

by AndreasbestHello!
I have 2x Dell Latitude 5570, both came without batteries and cables, so i bought 2x cables (from China) and decide to use them with 2 batteries i already own from other laptops, one genuine Dell and one OEM (Green Cell).
In my surprise i noticed that both laptops indicating both batteries as "No Genuine Dell Battery", i'm out of ideas as i have never faced similar problem before.
Is there any chance the chinese cables to cause the problem?
How can i test them?
Thank you in advance!

by pimlicoHi all,
Issue with my TV is that it comes on and goes dark. You can just about make out moving images if you look closely. Everything I have read on here points to a faulty backlight.
This is a bottom lit LED TV with I think 2 strips. I am guessing not the ones you can just unsolder the faulty LED and replace or am I way off?
Considering age of TV (i.e. 2017) genuine new parts are not readily available. So I guess the question is should I get the backlights from somewhere like AliExpress or get a genuine used part from ebay?
