I've got this problem, when I try to open or run an application it doesn't open. It just sits there doing nothing. When I open Task Manager, I can see the program in Process list but that's it. I don't know what the issue is. When I restart my computer the program opens and runs, but anytime after that it stops opening and does this. Is this the sign of a virus?

Re: is my computer infected?
Usually, I don't prefer using those, but I gave it a shot anyways, and I still haven't gotten a solution. Actually I just found out, its only ONE program (game) that was having such issue. The Tomb Raider 4 game engine. (level-edited patched engine) The only application doing such.
I would still like to know why it does this (because I use this often).
I searched in google: "denver tech for all" and got to the website; is this a place where people go to have their computer's checked out?Comment

Hello,
Fixing a doctor's laptop. This one he says is special and the files need to be preserved. I believe it's infected with a few things. I've cloned the hard drive, hooked the machine up externally to my machine and ran Norton. It detected two things.
SAPE.Somoto.13 (fully resolved) --jameelnoorinastaleeq_downloader_by_ffonts.exe
PUA.Gen.3 (not resolved) -- Advanced System Optimizer 3 files.
It's the potentially unwanted application gen 3 I have a question about. I've googled the program and it looks like it might have been purposefully...-

by Nikan.eGreetings and salutations!
I have a device that uses an N32G455RE. Unfortunately, its flash got corrupted. I have a dump of a working chip.
How can I program a specific region of the flash or the whole flash without touching the RAM, option registers, etc.?
I do not have a J-Link debugger and won't buy one, as I am not rich.
I have flashed a Nucleo board with an ST-Link to a J-Link just to find out that the ST-J-Link only supports ST chips.
What would be the cheapest and easiest option to program the Nations chip's flash without touching registers etc.?...-

by mon2Hi. We have an office client who has been contacted by the local internet provider that one of the office Windows PCs is infected with a virus. The report has been confirmed. Apparently through a remote outside trigger, this virus is performing brute force attacks around the world from this local IP address at varying times. Aside from low level formatting each PC, what is the recommended approach for this case? Running F-prot (suggested by the internet supplier) has come up empty. We are planning to run hijack this. At this time, we do not know which PC is creating this issue. Internet provider...
