    oledata.mso conversion

    how d fuck to read oledata.mso files?

    after we get used to winmail.dat etc then some client's outlook installation is sending these......

    any ideas?

    When sending HTML messages with an attached Microsoft Office 2000 document, the message is sent as an Outlook HTML message, not an Office Envelope message. The Oledata.mso file contains necessary information to properly render the attachment in the message in its originating program. This is known as "round tripping." There is no useful information for the user in this file and it is not editable. Do not delete this file; doing so could render the attached file unuseable.
    so the client send a html email with attached word document which get sent as html inline with the email and then a useless file is attached.

    and i guess the word document is now only available in html

      and the alternative is to receive an Office Envelope message well i dont want that shit either.....

      its a pity that outlook is so popular in offices.
