Hello Everyone,
Just moments ago as I was scrambling to carry a Celeron 2Ghz CPU and a Heatsink in the other hand, I tried to add another piece of RAM into my left hand and the worst happened, The piece of RAM fell from the table top, onto the chair, bounced off the chair and hit the tile floor
One of the top corners of my RAM chip is chipped and I can see a small section of the PCB layer has seperated.... this is on a very edge of the RAM module.
I filed (very lightly) away the corner.... it isn't noticeable. It boots in my motherboard still ..... phew.
But I am worried that the RAM chip may one day short out and damage my mainboard or similar. Is there a possibility that this could happen??
Thanks.
