Hi, all.
Just repaired my Acer Ferrari F20 monitor (bad caps on inverter card) thanks in part to info gleaned from this site, so TYVM for that.
But, during the repair process, a couple of tiny pieces of crud (just big enough to be irritating) have somehow made their way down in between the layers in the panel itself. It is not a case of bad pixels (looking from different angles, you can see that the crud is actually in front of the backlight, but behind the LCD layer, and different pixels are affected by angle of view) (sorry for the emphasis, but getting tired of being dismissed by people saying "oh, it's bad pixels, nothing you can do" when it's obviously NOT :grrr: ).
Now the question: how difficult/dangerous would it be to take the panel itself apart to get rid of them (and some dust in the same interstice that's been there since I bought it)? I was happy to deal with the previous issue without delving further in to the guts, but the monitor is almost too irritating to use now.
Thanks in advance for answers/advice.
