Hello, I know that since 2020, intel and others phased out support of CSM/Legacy. Since then we find computers with UEFI only, 3.0 or 3.0+. For some reasons (I'm aware of UEFI advantages, GPT, secure boot etc. - not the question) I'm looking for a NEW laptop with CSM/legacy support. Desktop is easier to find, but laptop.. did not find one, or the info is not available. I suppose, I may be wrong, that some, a few, AMD cpu based laptops may still offer this possibility (Intel removed everything it seems). OR, just my thought, maybe BIOS Legacy CSM is still here, but hidden in menus, no access unless a mod bios. Please, please, would you know an answer to my question? Thank you sooo much. Let me tell you a little bit about what happened to my laptop (MSI GF63 THIN 11UCX model: MS-16R6) that “maybe” you know how to solve this problem.
So before this problem happened, my laptop was running smoothly. When I wanted to restart my laptop, it looked fine at first. But after I waited for this restart process to take a long time, until finally I panicked (because the restart process did not finish plus the laptop screen only showed a black screen), I immediately pressed and held the power button to force the laptop to turn off.
