by Francesc V.Hi:
I am trying to repair a 1000W cheap power supply, but so far, with no much success.
The ATX has stable 5V STBY.
When shortening PsuON to ground, it triggers all voltages for a fraction of a second and then disapear (I see the leds flashing for a moment from the ATX tester)
- I removed and tested the capacitors. They are OK.
- Removed and tested the Output rectifiers from the secondary.
- Removed and tested the Mosfets from the primary.
- Outputs are not shorted.
- Overakk review of the solder joins.

by phuzzydayThis was my initial thread.. https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...-m-at-wits-end
(All the Electrolytics are brand new.)
I started a new one, hope that's ok, because my question is different now! (Strangely enough, after I walked away for a few weeks, it stopped lighting up at all!!)
I am determined to fix this power supply because I have the skills to replace bad components, I just need to find out... -
Hello Friends
I have an asus zephurus s15 gx502 laptop, unfortunately I don't have a display on the laptop LCD, but it works fine on the hdmi
This happened when the battery socket was damaged during removal.
Now the voltages I have are as follows
+3VS_LCD_OC is activated at the moment of turning on the system and quickly turns off
And on the pins
LCD_BLEN_CON
LCD_PWM_CON
I have no voltage even at the moment of starting.
In addition, the LCD cable is also healthy -
by Damex 29Hello, I have a problem with the dynabook L50-G-11H. Namely, during heavy load it was connected to the mains, together with the battery. Additionally, the mouse and keyboard were connected. At the same moment I was rummaging under the desk and unplugged the strip from the socket, where the adapter was plugged in. At the same moment the laptop turned off and shows no signs of life. After connecting the charger to the standard input, the diode indicating the battery status lights up, even if there is none, but if I hold down the power button, the diode goes out, after releasing it it lights up ...1 Photo

by Srdjan01Hi guys.
I'm working on my first board reballing.
It's iphone 12 pro max and I made a mistake(s), but now to learn something, I hope.
Either I overheated the board and two ics fell off on it's own, or I clumsily took of top board and knock them off. Adrenaline was high at that moment so I do not recall best.
I repaired the damage by putting these components back in place. In some moment I begin tinkering about my future steps and about the fact that I have used low melt solder (138C) to put those components back. My line of thoughts was something like, if I use same solder...1 Photo - Loading...
