    who are they fooling?

    look at this screeny! they got that bass ackwards! that made me fall over laughing!
    its a known fact that win8 stores keys in an unencrypted text file, yet if i login from linux term and start X i have to unlock the chrome keyring! LOL!

      Hey guys! I've recently found out this amazing forum where people talk and discuss about electronics repairs and i'm actually amazed with everything that here's have to offer.

      Oh well, i came here looking for a simple bios file in order to get my main laptop working again, but after a while trying to figure out what the hell was going on, i'm quite concerned that it would be worse than i tought.       This machine will boot to the login page fine. But once you login, the progress bar gets about 10% of the way across, stalls for around 1 minute or so, then the MAC reboots back to the login page. This machine had FileVault disk encryption enabled and appeared to be running Monterey.

      Board looked clean, apart from a corroded cap near the WIFI IC (which was partially shorted). Fixed that but fault remained. It boots to recovery mode, you can run disk checks etc. But that also locks up after around 5 minutes. Pretty sure this was a bad touchbar, but didn't have one to hand. These are...
