Linux? No I don't use that drug.
Drug? It is a tool to get things done.

But, you don't seem to mind being one of the drugged sheep that follow Windows along aimlessly. Go figure.

And no there is nothing on my system to make it sick now. C drive has been formatted and the OS reinstalled. The hardware issue has been fixed. Norton is up and running.
Now I have to ask you something. Just why are you users of Linux always trying to reinvent the wheel? Not everyone needs or enjoys the Linux product. I'm one of them. Sorry if you see me as a "drugged sheep" because of this. If this were so I would already be on windows 8. The fact is Windows 8 also has no place on this pc.

Don't worry I will not ask you for help ever again.

There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

You must have a sad, sad boring life if you hate on people harmlessly enjoying life with an animal costume.

Sometimes you need to break shit to fix it.... Thats why my lawnmower doesn't have a deadman switch or engine brake anymore

The fact still remains, Windows is an insecure operating system. The fact I choose an operating system that is one of the most secure (Linux) does not make feel like a rebel.

The malware you may have introduced into your system may only infect older hardware. It has to be more than a coincidence that your drive died when you tried to run a program from it.

I won't offer you any help in the future.

PS5 Disc Not Supported/ Disc Not Recognized Board Num: EDM-020
            by Junior††

            Good Afternoon fellas,

            Issue:
Disc is showing as not supported when a disc is put in.

Here's what I've done, you can skip this if you just wanna know the question:
            - replaced with a disc drive from a donor ps5 (honestly questionable if this is known to work)
            - reflowed the disc drive connector
-reflowed the chip in question (shown on image)
            - I will say this console was very dusty so it's conceivable that it got so hot that it made the chip joints cold and potentially other things on the board

            Question:

Copy DMI info easily with Hex editing software and Macro script
            by SMDFlea
Copying DMI information from an old bios to a new one is difficult for some members, often they have no experience with a hex editor,or some that have tried find it too hard. There is an option to make things easier for those members so that they don`t need to post their own bios backup for the DMI copying.

Experienced bios modding members can help by posting in other threads the DMI offsets, macro script generated by the software and a download link to the software at softpedia mentioned in this guide,or post your macros in the comments here with a link to the bios request thread ....
