The youngsters (like me) probably won't know what this is. Only reason I know is because I found it, and when I was told what it was, I just knew I had to post a pic here.

Its only about 1/8th inch thick.

i used to have one of those, given to me by an old timer. it had black marks in one place where the head crash happened.

Old Seagate "clunker" Disk I had one in a old IBM 5150

there is all kinds of old crap like that laying around. i think the FAA got rid of that system in the late eighties, but stuff like this still lays around.....for whatever reason. Maybe so people like me can find it and have a good laugh.

However, we still have operational switching units that have 8" floppies.
