I've got a pair of Tualatin-S ES's... Only have 1 cumine tho, couldn't get a mate for it at the time. They're not very common, so appreciate them!!

The default multiplier on a 1.26/133 CPU is 9.5. I tested my 1.4's (default multiplier is 10.5) on a VP6 using the powerleap adapters, the highest I could get them to run was 1.26/133. The highest multiplier setting is dependent on the motherboard not the CPU. The VP6 will not recognize a multiplier settting above 9.5, I tried it with the Cumine ES I have also, same result. Since the CPU's are unlocked, there is no multiplier 'limit', they can be run technically as high as the motherboard can go.

I tested the same CPU's on an Iwill DVD266u-RN, and was able to run them @ 1.6/133 @ a miltiplier of 12, and they ran stable. I could widdle around with the FSB reducing the multiplier, yielding some different overclocking results, but they would not really run much higher than 1.6 regardless. They were fun to experiment with though. It kinda brought me back to the good 'ol BP6 overclocking days... When you grill your pair, post any results, I'd like to know how they do...

Operating frequency for motherboard common mode inductor/filter
          by J_T
I have a question - I have replaced the PSU on my own iMac Pro. However, when removing the motherboard I knocked of a 120 OHM 30% 0.3A small surface mount common mode inductor/filter (~0602 size) in the ethernet circuit near the female RJ45 port.

The closest match I can find on Mouser is 120 OHM common mode inductor at 100MHz - my question is this frequency correct for a motherboard? The schematic for the motherboard only provides '120 OHM 30% 0.3A' and the TDK part number does not return anything in google.

Sorry, I am not experienced hence a basic question.

          Retro DC Bench Power Supply
          by Brendon@aa
Hi, pretty new to repair and have an OLD benchtop DC power supply with no output. There is no voltage showing on the volt meter display however the current meter is full scale at 5a when on the 2a limit setting and 1.35a when on the 500ma setting.

230V AC is making it past the fuse and into the main transformer - a yellow pair on the secondary has 30VAC on it, Brown pair 37V, there is what I think is a centre tap coming from the main transformer in green that has 15V and 20V respectively from the yellow and brown windings.
From there the power dives into what looks like a control...

HP ProBook 450-G2 LA-B181P - What is a common resistance?
          by Jane
I have faulty HP ProBook 450-G2 LA-B181P - doesnot start. When connecting a charger, the LED on plug in connector blinks from yellow to blue. (I tried to search a short on mainboard.)
What is a common resistance ( to ground ) I should measure on a coil that leads to VGA chip(RT8880CGQW) ? I measure only about 9.6 Ohms. Is it normal?

Carrier HK50AA063 display controller common failure help
          by ctroxtell
I've got a control display for a Carrier chiller that I'm trying to understand what the common failure with these boards are. This is the board in question https://www.supplyhouse.com/Carrier-...arquee-Display all of them seem to develop a failure with the up and down arrow buttons on the right side of the display, the esc and enter keys I've never seen fail. Once these boards are plugged in they run 24/7, you used to have to press extremely hard with the end of the blunt screwdriver and you could still get the arrows to work but now it has completely stopped working. The button...

Is it common for these caps to go bad?
          by mitsu2k
Just wondering how common it is for these types of caps to go bad. I have a couple that are measuring approximately correct (997nF) however a couple of them show signs that they have been pretty warm at some point. I'm replacing them anyway but just wanted to know how common it is for these to maybe act up when hot....
