    Dell Optiplex SFF PSU Tester compatibility

    Hi guys.

    Does anyone know if the PSUs in SFF Dell Optiplex machines can be tested with a standard PSU tester (eg Thermaltake Dr Power II or similar)?

    The charity I volunteer for seems to get a lot of 745's (mostly Pentium D, but some C2D's as well) donated with dead/missing PSUs. We sometimes get boxes of stray PSUs with them and it would be useful to be able to test them prior to fitting.

      Dell's Optiplex Pentium II and 3 lines are the only supplies I know of with radically different wiring. All Dell Pentium 4 stuff is fully ATX compatible. I've tested many GX270 and GX280 SFF power supplies with a CoolMax LCD power supply tester.
