Hi I want to install windows XP on my BP6, I have read in other forums that other ppl are having trouble with the HPT 366 driver installation. Does anyone have any information, pointers, that can speed things along. Thank You for your time. :|

i have put xp pro on a bp6 but never have used the hpt.
seems you should be able to do the f6 for driver and feed it a driver manualy. -
I will give the regular install a try 1st. Yes, I have checked out bp6.com they do have alot of information, but it takes some searching to find what you are looking for. Thanks for your time

I never used the hpt366 controller on any of my BP6's back in the day, they were always a little on the problematic side. I used a BIOS revision I made with the hpt firmware removed and then disabled it in Windows so it used no resources. I then used a PCI RAID controller with the BP6, that worked great. BP6.com is AWFUL to navigate these days, it's layed out horribly, so I understand your reluctance there...<--- Badcaps.net Founder

Hello all am trying to reinstall my AMCAP Microscope on windows 10 but it is not working anymore. But the cam and the drivers are present in the Device Manager but there it saysWindows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) the drivers is : gl usb2.0 uvc camera device driver and i also get this mesage: Windows found driver software for your device but encou​ntered an error.
but it is quite strange because it did work on this same OS for one week ago and even for sometimes ago on that same but now nix.
any help? -

I have an really very weired issue with ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING.
Some NVME (PCIe) SSD's are not working correctly in the second M.2 socket. An example of it is the SAMSUNG SSD980 1TB NVME SSD.
Some other NVME (I have only smaller ones) disk do work without any problem, also SAMSUNG disks, eg an MZVPV128HDGM-0000.
The behaviour is also really very strange, i.e.:- The disk shows always up in BIOS - so it is recognized, so far so good
- POST-ing with this disk with fresh Windows 24H2 installation (done in the M.2_1 socket) in the M.2_2 socket

In a Beelink GTR mini PC, mine has an Intel AX200NGW WLAN module.
Tried (only with keyboard/mouse connected):- BIOS + database update
- Using latest Windows 11 image built with official image creation tool
- Previous setup version for Windows 11 installer
- Replacing SSD without a slow block (the previous SSD had a slow block with access time > 500 mS)
- TPM reset (worked to the point where DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG error message is displayed briefly after the point of stalling)
- Disabling power to WLAN and LAN modules in BIOS (Advanced > AMD PBS > PCI Express Configuration)

Has anybody installed Linux on Windows 10 using Virtualbox? and since my old PC will have support after oct 25 and won't update to 11 , i just want to use win 10 for Music notation program and use Progdvb iptv player .

It is time to upgrade my system, so I want to extend working surface with second monitor. The graphics card is Asus EN6600LE Silencer with 256MB, and have DVI and VGA output connectors. I try to find pure *.inf drivers (like in old days...), but nothing package beside a hundereds and hundereds MB instead... At last, downloading a last driver (148MB) from https://www.driverscape.com/download...eforce-6600-gt but in it, thre is no readme, install, setup or working inf file... So, nowadays is instalation hardware pass a new level of rocket science or I miss something? Pleas help if you have...
