Re: 1333 mobo and 1600 CPU...?
Just to let you guys know I decided against the original topic of this thread - too much chance of me having an unsuccessful but costly outcome and a couple of mini-coaster Xeons. It's a shame I couldn't find a definitive answer to my original question.
I've just purchased 2x E5440 Xeon Quads @2.83GHz, 1333MHz BUS.
Not a lot of difference between the CPU's I've been looking at and the ones I've ended up with, so I should have a successful install soon.
