First I just want to say Thank you for this forum. Was able to fix two lcd's by reading through the posts. Both had capxcons. And I learned what ESR means.
My question is one of the lcs's has a scrape on the protective coating. Its doesn't go all the way to the screen. Just seems to have stretched the protective coating and bubbled up in a small area. Its on a samsung 225bw
Is there any way to fix this? Google searches have only turned up repairing scratches with Vaseline or using an eraser. I thought if I used a blow dryer and was careful I would be able to heat it up a little and gently press it down so the bubble is less noticeable.
Thoughts/ Ideas?
