    Schematic diagrams

    Hi all,
I'm brand new to this, so bear with me for stupid questions, etc. I am an experienced Electronics Engineer with thousands of designs/repairs under my belt. But... I always (almost) had the advantage of working with circuit diagrams, service manuals, etc. I am now deep in IT management as a career, but decided to re-start my EE career as a hobby, and to start slowly I am back repairing things, mostly LCD monitors lately, hence my stumbling onto this Forum.
Stupid question No.1... Is there a good (free, I hope) source of schematic/circuit diagrams for these type of devices?? I searched but didn't find much...
    Thanks!

And Another thing!... In particular, I'd love to get my hands on a schematic for a 48.L1J02.A02 PSU board for a BenQ FP91G+ monitor.
    Thanks again!

      lol

there are lots of schematics sites, most of them in eastern europe. (dont worry, the schems are in english)
but lcd stuff is rare if it's not from the big japanese company's or philips.

use google and play with the term "schem"

      like "fp91g + schem"

there are some scammers out there, avoid any site that wants you to sign up or "buy" with a creditcard/paypal.

the signup ones just want your details to sell to spammers,
the pay sites often have the goods, but they just got them from a free site first and are fucking robbers!

one of the best sites is eserviceinfo.

        Re: Schematic diagrams

        stj pretty much nailed it.
Often the best way to get a schematic is to whip out a sharp pencil and a piece of blank paper.

Most of the time the problems are in the power board or the inverter and those are pretty similar from one to another.

A fellow tech turned me onto http://elektrotanya.com/ . It will allow you two free service manual downloads per day. I'd try to look up the service manual that you need but, for some reason, my computer at work wont allow that site. When I get home i'll try to forward it to you or you can simply go there yourself and search for the model number.

              Hello,

I would like to help someone on reddit (see: https://www.reddit.com/r/computers/c...platine_defect) and for this I need the circuit and component diagrams of a Lenovo Legion 5 (Model: 15ITH6H & Type: 82JH).

Does anyone happen to have these?

              Thank you in advance.

Schematic vs. Reality: Where Are the Resistors on My Sharp Clock Radio? Model FY-70CH
              by TinkerTron
              Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on a mid-70s Sharp Electronic Digital Clock Radio, Model FY-70CH. I found the service manual online, printed it out, and have been studying it for a while. My main reasons for tackling this are: (1) I want to learn electronics and figured I'd start with something I had on hand, and (2) I want to fix its issues. Right now, the radio sounds awful, has about 5V DC at the speaker terminals, and the alarm time setting doesn't work. But I'm not asking how to fix these problems.

Instead, here's what's been bugging me so far:
              The schematic...

              Acer x163w Monitor PSU schematic
              by atunguyd
Ii wonder if anyone can help me. I have a Acer x163w monitor which is not powering up. The PSU main capacitor's one leg had completly come off - I replaced it but the PSU is still not outputting DC. I found the monitor in questions service manual here on manuals lib but the schematic in there is a completely different - the schematic shows no mosfet to drive the transformer while the one I have does use a mosfet - also the schematic shows only one optocoupler but mine has two.
The PSU board is labelled FM-20A02-AAA made by APD as per the image below. I am trying to find a schematic for this...

MSI Ventus RTX 4080 16G Broadview schematic needed
              by Thetechdude
Hi guys, I'm working on a MSI Ventus RTX 4080 16G. The GPU has 12v, 5v, however what I assume is the 1.8v rail has 1.1v and what I assume to be PEX is 0v. As you may have guessed already there is no Vmem and no Vcore.

I have looked around in related forum posts for a schematic so Much appreciated if anyone can share a Broadview schematic.

              Thanks.
