I have had an issue that I've never come across in all my years of laptop repairs and it has happened twice in the last couple of weeks. The issue occurred on 2 laptops.
1. The first laptop a Lenovo Yoga 7 convertible 14 inch 13th gen i7. This laptop came in working, customer wanted to replace the top keyboard assembly for cosmetic reasons so I replaced the keyobard assembly and put their touchpad in it.
