Help with cap ID: Panasonic FJS?

I have these VRM caps on an ASUS A8N SLI Motherboard

Reads "FJS +105C" and has an "M" logo with a thin circle around it. They are listed at 16v, 1000uf, have a golden polarity marker and black base color. I am guessing these are some type of Panasonic FJ Series?

1) What is the full ID of this cap?
2) Is FJS same level as FJ? Or better/worse?
3) What are good replacement caps? (I have no bad ones, just curious)

The only reference to FJS I can find was that they were used on some Dell XPS motherboards.

"M" logo with a thin circle around it... -> Matsushita - Panasonic, same-same.

Not real unusual for Matsushita/Panasonic caps to exist with no data sheets available.
FL and FJ don't have any publicized data sheets. Possibly a few others.
Presumably they don't make data sheets available when their intended market is 'industrial partners' or whatever. [Not retail.]

Those in the photo are in Vcore.
FL, FJ, MBZ, MCZ, WG and a few others are all fine there.

If you are looking for something to worry about you haven't found it yet.
Short of heat issues you aren't likely to blow one of those.

PC Bones, thanks again. You know yer caps. I checked far and wide to no avail for the FJS series Panasonic caps. Though, since panasonic FJ are listed on the "good capacitors thread" I figured these were good to go.

Last Q: the 4x 16v 1000uf KZG caps....are they the +12v circuit that is measured on the posted motherboard voltages? Or, what is the circuit these caps are in called?

Caps ~could~ be on any voltage less than their rating.

The larger 16v caps are usually on +12v in the VRM which is the regualtor for CPU power.
VRM-input side is on +12v power from the PSU.
[That's what the brown ones in your photo are. I assume those are the KZG you see.]
VRM-output side is the Vcore [CPU] voltage.
[That would be the FJS in the photo.]

16v caps do get used in other places.

A motherboard manufacturer may choose to power something from +12v through a POL [Point of Load] regualtor on the board and that might have a 16v cap on the input side to the regulator.

Small 4,5,6 mm caps on motherboards are often 'upped' in voltage either to use caps with better Ripple ratings or because the circuit is connected to external wiring [USB, PS/2, sound] that might get suddenly disconnected under load causing a voltage spike.

Fans are also powered by +12v and one or two small 16v+ caps near a fan connector is common.

... KZG, not so good to see.
Sometimes fail due to heat issues and don't always don't bloat when they go.
[Their cousin KZJ uses the same electrolyte and I suspect they have the same issues but KZJ aren't very common so there isn't enough 'history' with them to call it.]

Other series' of Chemicon caps should be fine. KZG is the only one with lots of complaints.

I think your board is too new for this to matter but since I'm on 'good brands with problems' ...
At least some [maybe all] Nichicon HN and HM manufactured from 2001 thru 2004 were defective. They goofed and put the wrong amount of electrolyte in them. There was a short run [few weeks or months maybe] within that time span that they were ALSO contaminated with some disinfectant or cleaner they use at the factory. Nichicon was honest and issued press releases for both problems but not everyone has seen both announcements and as the problems overlapped and applied to the same series' there is some conflicting info on the web.
Both problems only affected HN and HM series made from 2001 thru 2004.
Other series' of Nichicon and HN/HM made before or after those dates should be fine.

but coincidentally, I was looking for a old Matsushita series FJS too. Panasonic support said, that the replacement series is FR. Maybe it will be useful for someone.

FR is not a suitable replacement to FJS... FJS is almost equivalent to FJ, FL, or FJZ... It falls into the ultra-low ESR category and should be replaced with Nichicon HM/HN, Rubycon MBZ/MCZ, Sanyo WG, etc...

Good luck, the only way you're going to get those datasheets is if you know someone on the inside... Just search for the FJ datasheet if you really want to, it's posted as an attachment somewhere on this forum... Theres no real need to get the datasheets for all the other series. AFAIK and IIRC, they're all practically the same, and I don't think Panasonic ever produced anything like Nichicon HZ or HN class.
