STJ and Victor, thank you! Calibration was the trick. BTW I just ordered a DER DE-5000 as well for advanced in circuit testing

Basically calibration made it 10x times beter.

Nice work with the meter, as you can see it's really awesome and yes you can update it's firmware too.
