Capacitor lifespan in storage?

Oh dearie me its been a while since i logged in
Sorry getting back to the topic i have a s*** load of caps from planned projects from back then i purchased from mouser around 2014-2016 i was planning to use them, but i was thinking do these caps stored away have a lifespan where even stored in a A/C controlled room, it would go bad?

I would double-check the capacitance and ESR of each set of caps (each bag of capacitors). If the ESR and capacitance are good, I would use them.

You also mostly do not know how old the capacitors are that you got freshly delivered when you have bought some. In general its always a good idea to do re-formating before you use any caps for the first time. It simply never hurts with exception of your lost time in life. Result: Perfectionists always re-format caps before installing and using them.
