    Toshiba Regza 32SL863B intermittent flickering

I am having now some strange issues with it, the image is flickering, started on the left side of it and after a while it stops.
Now the flickering is taking longer to stop and is getting darker on left and right side, more dark at the bottom, the middle of the screen is normal, about 20cm in length, then after a few minutes goes away, (the dark part), and keeps flickering 70% of the screen for around 1 to 2 hours, then stops and works as it should be. While flickering is still watchable….
Is out of warranty and I opened the back cover, I cleaned up all the dust, this is first time when someone opens it.
It seems that this TV was refurbished, the speaker's plastic holders, three of them are broken, somebody put too much pressure while screwing down the screws, and there are signs of wear around one screw, scratches of that area.
Anyway, all caps are visible OK. I do not know what else could be. As I said, after the flickering/dark image goes away it works perfectly....
I think is something in regard with power, is not getting the full power straight away, some parts are weakening...
I am thinking to remove all caps and test them. These caps are mostly:
    180uf 50v
    22uf 160v
    450v53uf
    Hardware or firmware problem?
    Any help is welcome.

Dec 2011. Now is been working great for whole day, only "cold boot" is flickering, after warms up is fine. When is working fine, I turn it off, leave it for a few minutes then turn it back on again, it flickers for a few minutes not that bad.
      ..tubes means the long caps?

I know what you mean, this will be bigger job, more costly, involving changing the entire screen. I just do not get it why after warms up is working fine, if I leave it on all day long it is working fine. I was expected to fail totally but no is not worsening, keeps the same problems.

you can remove the tubes from the panel and check them.
and you can get replacement tubes or led kits.

at this point i'd remove the tubes and run the monitor with them out of the panel so you can see them.
if it is the tubes flickering then it narrows it down to the tubes or the invertor or the tube wiring.

This TV is LED backlit. Note that there is an LED driver board instead of an inverter.

Well, this Led TV has tubes that could be changed or not?
I was looking for the inverter, I did not find it, you could be right that is LED driver board instead of inverter.
I have to open it again to see which one is.
For now, if after 1.30 hours of al kind of flickering, the TV works fine.
I am attaching two pictures, one when the TV was turned on, the other one after 1.30 hours of use.

yes, that's led and the strip or driver is the problem.
