Like a rework station like the Yihua 858D or whatever it's called?

They look really good, and vs the boards I did, are way more valuable. I like the BX board polymod.

When I first started there was a lot of stitch work not too great but after completing a few more I went back and fixed them up. Even after 250+, I still run into a few unfriendly joints at times.

Nice, I had a few valuable boards go thru recap, with QDI's BrillianX 1 and Chaintech's 6BJM0 being up next soon.

    A few of them.

These motherboards are all part of my initiation to recapping. I've had the privilege of learning to remove them with a desoldering gun, a Hakko FR-301. It was a sizeable investment but easily the best tool ever.

All boards have been fairly well stress tested for many hours in the Serious Sam 1 TFE OG demo loop, and 3dmarked, and all are stable and function well.

Also every one of these boards bar the NF7 were tested prior with no life at all. No post & no beeps. Each one was a hail mary so to revive them all was a nice surprise.

There are a still quite a few caps on these boards that could be swapped out, but I've mostly gone with what visually looks bad. There are known suspects across a few, like the inputs on the 8RDA3+ & P4S5A but I'll wait for the boards to play up, if they ever do.

    ABit NF7-S Rev 2.0

Not sure why they covered this board in Rubys only to let KZG in around the AGP port. Other NF7 boards here that are non -S inc S2G do not have any KZG & use only Rubys.

    ECS P4S5A

    18x mostly 1500uf 6.3v & 1000uf 10v + 1 3300uf (will do the rest of the VRMs in time)

Saved the 'worst' board for last. Runs perfectly. Just needs a new CPU retention bracket.

I realize now I could have polymodded this. But @ 3x the cost of these FR these will do!
