    Help Identify Cap from Hi-Res Photo

    Hi-Res Photo

    I'm trying to identify these caps.
    At first glance, I thought solid polymer, but they appear to have vent marks.

    I've been through the various sites, and cannot find anything close to a match.
    They are installed on a Crest ProLite 2.0 power amplifier board.

    Based on the grooves on the top of capacitor, they're Panasonic but i can't tell you exactly which series without checking datasheets to match the code (50A. 0W9) .

    They're electrolytic, not polymer.

      I was thinking that was the case, because of the vents.
      I didn't pay that much attention when the case was open, only when I examined the macro photos did the vent lines become apparent.

        I think the SV series might be a match.

        Thanks for the pointer to Panasonic.
        It took quite a bit of digging to find it.

          Yes, definitely Panasonic, their vents are a unique shape (same as their standard electrolytic vents have been shaped for a long time)

          This is Panasonic's special lead-free aluminum electrolytic capacitor (surface mount type) series V-A which is now discontinued and replaced by the V-S series, of which you found the leaded series of, in your search, which you are referring to as SV - so the specs you located are very close, good job!

          The A printed on the capacitor is the series code and the period after the A signifies lead-free design. Unfortunately I do not have the V-A series datasheet handy, but once again, it is extremely similar to series V-S

            Hy guys , i have a DVR board DS-80104 REV 2.2 that was powered wrong, i have some smds on the board that are blown and i can't identify them , maybe if someone has this board somehow and we can identify the smds', i have searched online and i can't find a schematic.
            The smds are SOT-23-6 , one of them i think it has the marking ADJF since i found another one on the board with this marking , but the other one it seems that it starts with AG or it looks like. I would really apreciate if someone could help me identify those IC's .

            I mistakely pluged 100v japanese retro game console to 220v outlet.
            So It seems that glass fuse and varistor have been blew up.
            I can identify that voltage and ampere value of glass fuse(250V LF 1.6A),but It is impossible to identify varistor type in my sega saturn PSU(YAMAHA 35M07U XR258)
            Is there any way to identify varistor type in my sega saturn PSU?
            Any reply would be appreciated.

            It seems that I finally found out what type this black varistor is. It is Panasonic ERZV05D221 “ZNR” Transient/Surge Absorbers (Type D) Varistor Voltage...

            Hi guys , i hope this is the right place , i got Plasma Samsung PS-50Q91H and i need to repair Ymain LJ41-05120A , but those component are burn and i can not identify to replace those part , and the part are blue capacitor and the location are C5105 and C5106 and here i attach the part that need to identify , and one more thing , i also need to replace Zener Diode on location ZD5502 and the part are BZV55C because mine is short but i don't know the voltage because those parts are release with many type of voltage.             Hello, I have a legion pro 5 16arx8 serial number pf4bf4aw mb code nm-f251 rev1.0 which was dissasembled by the client for cleaning. Now it does start but for 20 secs after that fans run at maximum and then shut down. Found PU8302 burned but cannot identify it the part.
