    Help to ID a cap

I'm not being lame. I've been diggin' and diggin' trying to find this.

Then I notice 3 of them in one of your pics where you are talking about Rubyon right there in between the Rubycons. (I dunno how to post pics here.)

If you will please look in the "The Good Capacitors Photo Thread" at the very first pic (Photo from Intel D875PBZLK motherboard, original caps).

See the black and yellow caps with the K stamp on top.
If you look closely on the middle one of the 3 black/yellow caps you can see a trademark of a capital F with a horizontal bar above and below it.

That's the buggers I'm trying to ID.
    What the heck are they???

    THANKS!!

Thank you Sir! ~ That was quick!

I'm now looking for one with an "S.I." followed by the [circle "R"] symbol.
[If you know off the top of your head.]

And in looking for that I discovered that your link in "List of Bad Cap Manufacturers" for su'scon . http://www.su-scon.com.tw/ . .. .. Now redirects to Microsoft.com.

        only if you use firefox....

i am not sure about the S.I. caps. i would recommend they are treated as possible bad ones. the yellow fujitsu are probably ok.

Nope, the yellow fujitsu's are bloating.
            I have two Gateway/GVC Corfu-II, [PCB: MX842] with 5 Fujitsu's each on them.
3 are bloating on one board and 1 is bloating on the other.
            The Fujitsu's are all 4v 820uf "M" series.
There are 15 other caps that would need replaced as well.
(All Teopo on one and all Tayeh on the other.)

I have to decide if it's worth my time for i815 boards. I have several systems with these boards still in use and I had spare boards for these two but now I'm out of spares. They are NLX in desktop [not tower] cases which I like because I can set the monitor on the case for the right height and the CD drive is right behind the keyboard instead of eye or knee level. ~ But, I have two MSI P4 boards that need re-capped too. Capping party???

            Anyway,,,,
            Thanks for your help!!!!

Re: Help to ID a cap

Many i815 boards are thrown away because of bad caps - so it's good to fix them as they're not easy to get (at least here - when I get some, they sell out very soon).

Re: Help to ID a cap

I haven't found out who S.I. is but I did find another mention of them in here:

                https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...4&postcount=25

I have 3 boards same make model (FIC FR33E).
They each have 4 baddie 1000uf-10v.
Two have S.I., the other has Teapo in those 4 positions.

The boards zero problems since new but they are going into pain in the butt (to get into) mini cases and those caps are near the Chipset and RAM slots so they are getting changed as a precaution.

                Kinda pisses me off.
All the other significant caps are genuine Rubycon.
FIC could'a spent and extra dollar and put good caps it the other 4 spots too.

The MSI boards I'm looking doing at have the same thing.
Rubycon by the CPU but Teapo by the RAM, Chipset, AGP.
                The MSI's did quit...
