    A7M266 16V 1200uF

    I have the following motherboard - A7M266
A cap fell of do to handling and I would like to replace it.
    The cap is a 16V 1200uF.
My question is would a 16V 1000uF work or will it cause some sort of problem?

    Thanks all in advance

A 1000uF in place of a 1200uF will more than likely be OK, 1000 is borderline on the 20% tolerance of 1200. If possible, go up to 1500uF. NEVER decrease the voltage unless you know what you're doing.
