Trick for non-standard case sizes?

Looking up some capacitors and I've found them to be a non-standard size.

Teapo SC 470uF 25v 8mm x 15mm

Sizes in SC datasheet show 8x20, 10x12.5 and 10x16.


What's the trick for getting the right number?

Look at the closest size in the same voltage range, or was it something else?

Get the impedance and the ripple value for the uF-voltage combination:



*8x20 1000 0.067
10x12.5 900 0.086
10x16 1050 0.064

Anything with under 60mOhm impedance and over 1100 mA should be good.

ESR and Ripple relates to the can size, not uF and volts.
