by Kambi13Hi all, need some help, I've got a Lenovo V14-IIL that as total of 8GB of RAM (4GB onBoard - 4GB Sloted), out of the blue it stopped posting, After investigating, found out that removing the RAM stick from the slot, the laptop would post and work with no other issues. So tried with a different RAM stick suspecting that the original one somehow died, but to my frustration the issue remained, so again tried a different number of known working RAM sticks with different capacities and speeds but with no avail.... Unplugged Battery, removed CMOS battery,Reset and Updated Bios, also measured voltages...Yesterday, 05:23 AM

by hemant_2222Hello Friends,
Greetings!
I have taken this active subwoofer from Wharfedale for restoration. This is already in a bad shape as far as the connections goes. It has already been worked by local technicians. The most important part that I am looking forward is the schematic diagram, as there is jumper placed and a track has been cut, as if to bypass the actual connection. I am not sure if this is by design or someone has tried something to achieve.
Another thing is the TDA7294 was badly treated with its legs cut and it had a crack too, so I have replaced it...-

by tommy97Hi,
We are having problem with HP omen HP 15-dh1005na Motherboard:GPC54 LA-J662P Rev 1.0 laptop randomly restarts, and it did not charge battery. PQB01 we're blown replaced, laptop charging only while laptop is off. While the laptop is ON in windows, we're getting a message that charger wattage is incorrect, and it does not have a charging light at all. Tried on 180w, 120w and lab PSU, no change, while it's off it does charge on any charger.
PQB 1&2 S&D 19.5v, G 24v.
The laptop does not power on while battery disconnected, only show white light on...Yesterday, 09:57 AM -
by crosswindsHello,
So, pulled a motherboard out from storage, was working when put away, wont post when I took it out of storage today.
Since it was working, and it looks to be essentially time that killed it I figured its a good idea to replace the caps before digging further.
Looks to be only good quality caps on this board, so might not be the issue. But it is closing in on 20 years now so, wont hurt i guess
Its a ASUS P5VDZ-MX board.
I would really appreciate some assistance on what the best replacement caps would be for these:

by aaronkatriniHi all,
Recently picked up this GTX1650 at a local flea market for a low price and wanted to use it on my secondary PC. I first tested the card and saw the fan spin for a split second and then nothing. Immediately I thought of a short circuit. Disassembled and found a shorted SMD capacitor, injected voltage into it (1V/4A) and two Mosfets got hot immediately (QN3103 & QN3107). Desoldered these Mosfets and the card turned back to life.
Bought replacements from Aliexpress and replaced them afterwards. Tried the card but still the saw the fan spin for a split second...Yesterday, 03:15 PM -
by SkullMurrayHi all, I' m a newbie in troubleshooting but I'd like to solve a quarter fan spin issue on a 820-5509-A board. Where should I start to solve this problem? Any suggestion is useful! Thank you!04-16-2024, 03:20 AM

by reassorHi.
I got dead one.
3VALW is just pulsing then goes down. i removed the jumper PJ402 and it suddenly stays up but PG pin on that IC is around 0.5v and droping.
There is no obvious shorts. Wierd thing is that on the other side of the PJ402 i have 1.4V from somwhere ...
Injecting 3.3v there draws 300mA and nothing is heating up.
the ic is SY8386BRHC_QFN16 (kinda uncommon here - so i do not have a spare to test it)
any ideas to check before i order a few of these?04-17-2024, 01:47 PM

by mixtape87
Hey everybody, got that specific notebook, bought it second hand. There was no ssd inside I placed the new ssd and tried to start the laptop but the only thing I get when I start up is a black screen and the keyboard is lighted up and changes the colors. No fan spinning ( but the downside is getting warm so the cpu is working I guess) and the led for charging the battery is on. Can't boot into the bios via f2. It's now looking like I bought a brick and got scammed.. can anybody help me out with this problem please?

by norbiszokeHello,
We have this set here in our shop that is not ginving sign of life besides red light that is blinking one time after pressing the button and nothing more... After detaching the mainboard from the PSU (this set has separate board thank god?! or not...) the backlight comes on. After reattaching nothing besides red light.... Can anyone from the forum help me here? Thank you in advance. Here's a link with images of the mainboard and the memory IC's that are on it.

by mr.DataHello,
This Macbook Pro 2018 boots up and then gets stuck on the logo.
All the normal methods of resetting this Macbook have been tried but do not work.
I cannot get into recovery mode and there is no bar displaying, it's just the white logo on a black background.
Any help would be greatly appriciated....Yesterday, 11:51 PM -

by Super360Hi as you can see from title, I have a samsung tv here that will show the smart tv logo and then no picture after that even hitting input or menu on remote and shows nothing but the backlight still appears to be on. The tv will turn itself off after a minute or so automatically. I'm somewhat confused if this is either a eeprom problem or a bad led strip problem. The power supply makes a pretty noticeable humming sound when it's turned on leading me to believe one of the leds are shorted but idk honestly. Any of you guys have any help for me? I have a good multi meter and can take pictures of whatever...4 Photos04-13-2024, 10:05 PM

by r2digitalI have a klipsch kda-500 that would turn on and allow me to get into the web management but it was picking up a lot of noise from audio sources so i decided to replace the smd caps on the power supply along with radial one. Some one was in here before me and they basically burned the bottom side of the traces off for the radial cap but i was able to repair it without any real problem. I thought i did a good job sourcing out replacement caps but apparently not and now i can't get the power supply to turn on it just constantly try's to keep turning on. Attached is a picture of the power supply before...2 PhotosYesterday, 03:50 PM

by Keshenatech1Does anyone have a schematic or parts list for a ZWS150BAF-12 12V power supply? I have a dead one and I've determined the surface mount diode on the back side of the board that connects from the center leg of Q3 to the + side of the 420V 60uf capacitors has a 3.5 ohm short. I'm not having much luck trying to identify the diode as the part number is not very legible. In the attached picture, it's the black rectangular diode in the center. There are some numbers on it but I can't even tell if it's right side up or upside down. The picture is from a 2nd good working unit which is more legible...Yesterday, 08:58 AM
