Hi everyone,
I'm repairing a Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE motherboard that was sold as defective.
The board has two physically damaged SMD components located next to the Richtek RT3678BE CPU VRM controller.
One component is:
Brown ceramic SMD (appears to be an MLCC capacitor)
The second component is:
Black SMD with a white stripe on top
White ceramic underside visible because it is cracked
This component is also physically broken
I've attached microscope photos of both damaged components.
Measurements
The black component was removed and measured with an LCR tester.
Because it is cracked, measurements are inconsistent:
~102.7 Ω
sometimes detected as ~140 nF
sometimes only a few pF
I suspect the readings are unreliable due to the mechanical damage.
Boardview
I found a B650 AORUS boardview with similar component naming, but unfortunately no B850 boardview or schematic.
The damaged area contains markings such as:
DEC13
DE1_DL1
DD2_DL1
MOS_HS
What I'm looking for
Does anyone have:
B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE boardview or schematic?
A high-resolution photo of this VRM area?
The values of these two damaged components?
A donor board they can compare against?
Even confirmation whether the black component is a resistor, diode or something else would be very helpful.
