Single Observation of i7-11700f
Top of i7-11700f, lowest on left corner, very small blue precision resistor (maybe 0402 or smaller, same size as neighboring resistors): could possibly become victim of mishandling. I successfully measured it at 150 ohms.

Have a Samsung Q90T that has a single thin vertical line on left side. (See pictures)
When I apply light pressure at the bottom of screen along line, more vertical lines appear then disappear.
Also along the bottom of screen is about an inch of horizontal lines.
Before I tear it apart, and start inspecting driver boards, tab bonds and the Tcon, first wanted to see what the community thinks. Is it a shorted led and thus a bad panel anyways?
The picture is amazing otherwise.

Hi friends
I have a Toshiba 50UL2063DB with a single line of dead pixels on the screen. If you rub back and forth at the bottom of the screen with gentle pressure the line comes and goes.
Am I right in thinking this is a panel fault and therefore not repairable?

Wanted to share this as I couldn't find anything on the internet about this problem, so pulled one apart and found the problem myself. Years ago I bought approx 20 or so Crest Smart Home Single Power Adapter smart switches - small 240v Tuya-compatible (rebranded) smart switch devices with power monitoring, which Big W had on sale for half price. Paid $7.50 each for these, and they've been incredibly useful for turning things on and off remotely... and monitoring how much power each device uses.
However, after about 12 months, I had a number of these stop working... -

I bought new BL set . - OK
Power up : Blip . Protection.
Led Tester shows current at 34.2 mA , Previously it was 42.1 mA
Solution : Change current output .
The BL IC is marked on the photo and datasheet is QOB33535 Datasheet(PDF) - Schneider Electric (alldatasheet.com)
Calculating according to the datasheet - see attached photo :
With ILed = 34.2mA , equation #1 is RFb = 400mV / 34.2 = 11.7 Ohm , and with 42.1 mA we get 9.50 Ohm . i.e I should look for 9.5 Ohm...06-09-2024, 12:25 PM
