Philips 55PUS7303 LCD lines
by rtstorm
Hello, I have this 55" Philips TV that suddenly has these vertical lines on the LCD panel. I have checked the T-con board and I noticed some caps have 40Ohm I don't know if this is normal. These caps have 1.2V on them. I mark them on the photo with a silver pen. The T-con board has 1.2V, 12V, 25V, etc. Does anyone have any idea what could it be?
i try to disconect one ribon cable and the problem is the same, one side is white other side have the lines (the same is in other way)

T-con model: 55T32-C0L
Main Board: 715G8579-M0F-B01-005T

Help with Asus Zenbook UX362F repair
by nd03
Hello lads,

Will give a quick summary. Bought this laptop as broken. Initial board had shorted SOC (VCCGT coil shorted to GND, checked all caps and just desoldered soc to confirm, dead short from VCCGT to GND on soc). I ordered a replacement board. Board model Q326FA Rev 2.0: is: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005962462632.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.77.1309180228rsDj

Asus a15 FA507RE-A15.R73050T failure
by freakaftr8
So this laptop seems to have some kind of failure. I bought it second hand and originally the previous owner said that they went to turn it on and it was presented with a quick flash of the power light the keyboard lit up and then the keyboard shut off and the power light went off as well but the battery indicator was white and after about 5 to 7 Seconds flashes orange really quick then shuts off and goes back to White. If the power button is pressed again the keyboard lights up really quick and then repeats. When I got it I could press the power button multiple times the keyboard light would...

RTX 2070 Fan not operating - 12v present at header but drops to 2V when fan connected
by tintin_sn2
I recently purchased a second hand RTX 2070 - an OEM Acer Predator manufactured by Sapphire - not a very common model.

Upon connecting it up I noticed the fan wasn't operating resulting in the card overheating and shutting down. I checked the fan operation independently by connecting it directly to a power supply and function generator - it was working correctly with variable speed according to the square wave frequency.

I then checked the output with a multimeter/DSO and verified that the GPU was putting out both 12V at pin 2 and PWM at pin 4. However, when the fan is...

Lenovo Legion Y520-15IKBM - No power besides the main rail
by Fronczek
Hello people,
I've got this laptop not working for repairs, and as you can see something was done to it as you can see in the coils PL58XX (which I for some reason cannot find in the schematics...) The first FET (PQ201) was not an original part and a questionable one at that and the second one (PQ202) was shorted. Both are N-channel. Ordered replacements for them and replaced them after arrival. Now I have encountered another problem: there is no power at the second FET. By following the thread linked I got to the injection part. Applied 0.8V at 1.5A, but couldn't feel anything getting hot,...

Lg oled55b8 t-con question
by reassor
There is 2 sia ics and in 1 section where u see dots on the coils i have 2.2ohm there and there is no voltage on them at all.

Also i read in other topić how psu works on these tvs and when u pług it in there is constant 40w draw from wall. When I unplug display from tcon it drops 10w when I unplug tcon it drops another 10w (unplug done w/o power ).

I'm mostly sure its main board cpu cause no sygnał to turn on 24 volt for panel and its constant draw.

For now I'm just curios about these w coils . Could not find any datasheet for ic thats the lines go...
