   Badcaps.net was started as the result of the success of PROJECT:VP6, an article I wrote on recapping the Abit VP6 motherboard.  I've had probably hundreds of emails come in asking questions, sharing success stories, and tips to improve things.  I also received a lot of questions from people with motherboards other than VP6's plagued with bad capacitors.  The majority of the motherboards happen to be Abit, but not all...  Just the same, I decided to expand things a bit and create a central location for information, how-to's, replacement parts, and repair services all in one location.  Since the launch of this site in April of 2003, the response and feedback from all of you has been remarkable!  For the full story, read more HERE.
