Premium Grade Polymer Capacitor Inventory

Polymer capacitors in layman's terms are essentially 'solid state' capacitors.  They contain no electrolyte liquid.  They are very low ESR, and are a bit more robust when it comes to heat.  Using polymer capacitors in place of electrolytic capacitors when recapping your board is a very experimental practice.  I do it quite frequently, and have had great success.  Beware though, it is not endorsed or warranted by Badcaps.net in any way!!  If you try some polymer recapping experiments, and your board goes POOF, you can't say you weren't warned!!  You may consider using Polymer capacitors in place of the electrolytic capacitors for CPU filters.  You want to make sure that your VCORE voltage doesn't exceed the rated voltage of the capacitor as well.  Again, these capacitors are offered as EXPERIMENTAL ONLY, use these at your own risk when using them in place of electrolytics!!!  If you're using these in direct replacement for the same capacitance and voltage originals, then you have nothing to worry about.

Value Voltage Manufacturer Diameter Height
1800uF 6.3v Nichicon 10mm 13mm
1500uF 6.3v UCC 10mm 13mm
820uF 16v Nichicon 10mm 13mm

560uF 4v Oscon 8mm 8mm
330uF 16v Oscon 10mm 13mm

If you have any questions about which caps and sizes to order or you're unsure of exactly what you need, don't hesitate to contact me for assistance, I'll be glad to help.  When you recap your board, I absolutely want to make sure that you have the correct parts to do it!!

I am constantly adding new values to these lists as they become available.  As of right now, I have every popular value of capacitor which is used in PC mainboards, power supplies, and other PC peripherals.

Just for the do-it yourselfers, I have started selling capacitor kits so you can rebuild your own motherboards.  From all the feedback and questions I've received in the past, the most common was where do I get the replacement caps??

The charts to the left outline my entire inventory of polymer capacitors in various brands.  Badcaps.net has NO minimum order requirement!!  Whether you need one capacitor or 100 capacitors, we can take care of you!!
