heres an even more disturbing thought...I was right



appearently all I need is to see the top half and 2/3's of a motherboard to be able to determine the model #. I'm such a looser. my god that is sad

You are not a loser. You have the wrong board.

Wrong PCB color.

wrong location of the ATX plug

also is missing firewire (the first pic shows a firewire header bracket with a red connector in slot 0, above the AGP)

I was thinking that too.....if the case was assembled, theres not an opening large enough in a computer case for rodents to get in....

A8V Deluxe is much closer layout wise. The board might be an OEM version based on this model (less audio jacks and i'm not sure if there's 3 or 4 dimm modules)

hah you're right, I was looking at the cpu connector

board colors can change from factory to factory, oem to oem

my mother had an A8V-X, thats probably why I recognized it
