Default dell xps M140 turn the adapter led off

I Hav Dell xps M140 with i connect it with dc adater i see adapter led off
i check all mosfet is ok and caps i dont know where is the problem

This problem id probably a bad cap some where i have solved these problem before always with dell computers. It is a cap short around the power area or the vga area just check for cap shortages around there.....

its a laptop. are you sure the adapter is good?
