Last I knew, he was running a couple of office machines and a beefy server. Not sure if that's changed. I find it amazing that my GPU folds better than any of the CPUs I have... Almost makes me want to buy another one

Hello Dood,
I saw this forum had this team and I had some resources at my disposal so I was curious about how much of a contribution I could make. I am surprised at my rate of rise and at the same time wondering WTF are the top two guys running and who is paying for their power. I know what I have running and think it is some decent firepower (even if some of it is older) and it is not even close to touching those guys.I was not sure if anyone was paying attention to the stats or not, I am glad to see that you are. ![]()

Welcome to the team, LDS! The top contributer, mutant, is a fellow board member. Swordphsh is a friend of mine who I recruited. He's running FAH on a couple of office machines that he's in charge of. I have it loaded on my office machine at work and my machine at home
In case you're wondering, GPU folding tends to produce the best results. |

Welcome aboard LDS!! I try to check in at least once a week, but haven't in a couple weeks......yeah.....its only a 'try".
![]() Once it gets cooler, I'll try to get my two QC running. I've given up on the AMD dual core I have. Dood is right. Those GPUs rock. Even my silly little laptop puts down good #s. (<thinks to himself> now where did i put that silly thing????) again...welcome!!! ![]() |

Stretch - I'm waiting for cooler weather to fire up my rig at home, too. During the summer it was just too much to pay for - the increased power draw from the PC, plus all-day A/C. But in the winter, it should nicely take place of the space heater that I normally run in my room

It's supposed to get chilly this weekend... Sunday night is only supposed to be 30*!
I'll be able to put some better numbers up for the weekend, anyway. |

I moved into the 16th place today. If nothing changes I should be in 15th place in less than a week. I am rather surprised by how fast I have moved up the list. I am still looking for more more things to run it on but for now I have no prospects so my pace will not change for the foreseeable future.

LDSisHere - Congrats on 15th place! Although, it doesn't take long to move up the lower ranks... don't get discouraged when it starts taking months to bump up a spot.
In other news, it's been cool enough that my PC at home has been running all week. Stretch, you'd better look out, I'm gunning for you! |

well....no more folding on the PS3s. Sony dropped support. Whatever the hell that means.
I doubt I'll have anything running until Feb. Sorry. Moving takes precedence. |

Welcome LDSisHere and thanks for the folding help.
Congrats on the new house stretch. Yea too bad the PS3 is out of the game but we were only getting 1000 PPD out on average. I'll probably have to shut a computer down soon. Power bill getting too expensive now. Hope all of you had a nice ThanksGiving holiday. Christmas will be here before you know it and Stretch will probably still be unpacking |
