I'm up for it. I have 2 dually xeon systems that would be happy to contrib... I wonder how much system resources that sucks up...... I need to read on it a little more. I'm also sure that Will would be happy to contribute with that rack he has sitting in his room....

With any good distributed computing project, the client should only ever run at the lowest priority, unless you tell it otherwise. This means that your processor will always be running at 100% usage, but other programs get priority if they need processor cycles. You should never notice any slowdown when running a distributed computing project. If you do, the client is crap and you should look elsewhere.
I personally run the distributed.net and United Devices projects. |

anyway i have a various other machines available as long as the client behaves to dood's specification and is stable. folding is ok with me or is there anything else interesting or something new? i would still prefer medical research related to serious diseases, genetics if we are to choose something else. it would be nice to compete against each other within the team. we would need facility to see that. |

the client seems ok, i am running two systems at the moment, my main for the net etc and another which is currently playing winamp and 3d visuals 1024x768. i see no difference running the client or not on both systems.

I saw recently that SETI is expecting to get a hit within the next ten years.
That would be cool to name ET and prove we are not alone.

oh yeah...I'll have to wait a couple weeks until I get home. Then I'll switch over from RC5-72. Remember that TC??? I still wish we could recover some of that info on the old vp6-board forum. oh well.
