Samsung 203b and f301 fuse replacement selection

    Is this MCRW3A Fuse 125V 3A Fast Acting Wire-in-Air a suitable replacement?

    Thanks!

(not sure what "wire-in-air" means )

Spec sheet shows it like a mini glass tube fuse but in a tiny ceramic package like a diode. Probably OK.

Is this to replace SMD of Pico fuse? What kind of fuse was the original?

It was the f301 pico fuse that I see referenced in other threads here(which led me to check it and it is definitely blown). It is green and has 3A and a symbol after it printed on the part.

      Thanks for the reply.

Monitor is working great after replacing the caps and fuse.

All the failed caps were Samwha's BTW.

          New Caps used :

          3-Panasonic FC 820uf 25V
          1-Panasonic FC 330uf 25V
          1-Panasonic FC 47uf 50V
          1-Panasonic FC 10uf 50V

          Fuse:

          3A 125V Fast Acting(found a source for exact replacement).

                Hello,

Same exact same problem for me:

                BAD COMPONENTS:
                ==============
C301, C111, C112 caps near transformer all fullly vented and blown.

                F301 Fuse blown.

                  Hi guys,

don't feel like opening a whole new thread to repead the question hence the resurrection of an old thread.

I guess the question shows how little I actually understand but still, I need to know Was sold a Samsung 203B for 5€ and got replacement caps for about the same. It still doesn't work and F301 is blown (only found about this minutes ago).

The question is: should the fuse be 250V since I'm from Europe?
                  Looking at this: http://si.farnell.com/multicomp/mcpe...-3a/dp/1566012

                  Thanks

Just want to say thank you guys.

I replaced fuse F301 and a bad CapXon caps to fix my first 203B monitor.

My second one had bad backlighting which was not working intermittently. Replacing all caps fixed this one as well.

Thanks again for all the good info.

I want to replace the board but the marks from the connectors are gone , Who knows how the connections should be by this board.
