    Got VCore?

    Sure hope those are good caps, would be a nice job else replacing them
    Mobo is upcoming P55 based Asus Maximus III

        those are shielded inductors.
        16 phase? wtf? isn't that really inefficient?
        although i heard gigabyte has introduced a 24 phase VRM..

            More than 8 phases makes the V-core much quieter this is the main reason for smoothest Vcc using 3 phase mains on many large computer mainframes.

            Same with 3 phase star toplogy using diode arrays in the vehicle alternators, primarily to keep whine to a minimum on radio and improve ignition quality and easy on battery.
